Charles Boakye joined Jefferies in 2021, with several years researching the energy transition and climate change more broadly. He is CFA charterholder and began his time in equity research at UBS Group AG, eventually covering ESG. Prior to joining Equity Research, Charles spent his initial career across financial services at JP Morgan and Nomura (amongst others) focused on both cash & equity derivatives. Together with the Jefferies Sustainability & Transition team, Charles brings thought-leading analyses of net-zero, power and energy markets, and the broader energy transition. Charles has a Bsc. in Mathematics with Actuarial and an Msc. in Intl. Financial Markets.
